The HRC Board of Directors was honored to be joined by our families, members of the Stillaguamish and Tulalip Tribes White Bison Family Recovery Group, Pastor Terry Bonner of Jake's House Church in Smokey Point and other special guests to participate in the Ground Breaking Ceremony for our 36-bed Residential Substance Use Disorder Program on 11/09/20! We are excited to announce that Holman Recovery Center was awarded a grant through the Washington State Department of Commerce's Behavioral Health Facilities Program in the amount of $749,700. We are hoping to break ground later this month and we should be ready to provide services to our first clients in August of 2021. Please join us in celebrating this great news for Holman Recovery Center and our community! We'll post photos & [...]
We (the HRC Board of Directors) wanted to wish all of our supporters, friends and colleagues a very Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanukkah, a Happy Kwanzaa and a Happy New Year. We are excited to have identified a program that can provide us with $500K in financing to secure all the equipment and furnishings we will need for our new facility! We are exploring several options to help secure our remaining needed Operational Startup funds, and then move forward with a ground breaking for the new HRC facility in March of 2020! Thank you all for your support in 2019, now [...]
Our journey over the last year has been amazing; the people we met, the challenges we faced and the incredible support we have received from so many individuals in Snohomish County that support the Holman Recovery Center Project. The idea made sense, but the path to getting there was not clear. I reminded myself that not being able to see the path forward did not mean I [...]
2018 was an amazing year for Holman Recovery Center! We assembled a Board of Directors, formed a Non-Profit, launched a website and promotional film, finished a Business Plan and Forecasting Model - we achieved all our goals for the year! In 2019, we're so excited to start moving into promotion and fundraising! Snohomish County needs a Residential Inpatient Treatment Center that accepts private and public funds and works closely with local courts, Outpatient Treatment programs, Medically Assisted Treatment providers, Mental Health counselors and the 12-Step community. HRC is that program, and we can't wait to accomplish our 2019 goals and ultimately [...]
So here we go, the very first HRC Project blog post! The HRC Project right now is comprised of a founder and 5 other professionals who make up an advisory group. We are all so excited and privileged to be a part of this project and look forward to sharing our accomplishments and trials with all of you on this blog and our Facebook page in the weeks & months to come! Our goal is clear: we want to open a 28-day Residential Intensive Inpatient Treatment Center in the Arlington/Smokey Point area to help Snohomish County and North Sound residents struggling [...]
