So here we go, the very first HRC Project blog post! The HRC Project right now is comprised of a founder and 5 other professionals who make up an advisory group. We are all so excited and privileged to be a part of this project and look forward to sharing our accomplishments and trials with all of you on this blog and our Facebook page in the weeks & months to come! Our goal is clear: we want to open a 28-day Residential Intensive Inpatient Treatment Center in the Arlington/Smokey Point area to help Snohomish County and North Sound residents struggling with addiction discover their path to Recovery.
We feel very strongly that there is a clear need for this service and the statistical information we’ve been able to acquire definitely supports this reality. Just wanting something does not make it so, and this goal in particular is going to be very hard to achieve – but we believe it’s possible. We believe we can get the public & private financial support we need to buy the land, build the facility and open our doors to those who need the help.
We have already had the most amazing support from other Addiction Treatment Professionals around Washington State! In particular are 3 currently operational Residential IIP Treatment programs in Kirkland, Port Angeles and Vancouver who allowed us to come tour their facilities and took the time to answer all our questions, and to them we say – THANK YOU!
So here we go, wish us luck as we move forward and keep your eyes on our blog & Facebook page in the weeks ahead for more exciting updates regarding the Holman Recovery Center Project (like a short promotional film in production – stay tuned)!
